I'm a recruiter at one of the top tech IT firms, with 6+ years of experience in the field.
Over the years, I've received countless messages on LinkedIn and via email from people looking for job opportunities. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to help most of them, since our company (like every company) has certain expectations for hiring.
The most common roadblock: companies want people with experience, and people need opportunities to gain that experience.
I've been thinking about taking an initiative to bridge that gap; bring people together, set up a platform, learn as a group, and help each other execute so people can upskill and eventually monetize those skills.
